(you had better read again because i sat here adding and deleting the whole entry)
I’m finally back home. Happily typing away on my keyboard.
You have no bloody idea how unlucky we were going to Kelantan.
I called it our “technical sui-ness”.
First of all, the bus seats we had was fucking shitty.
It was the last seats and we couldn’t adjust the seats to lean back.
So the 5 hour journey was very uncomfortable. First sign of unluckiness
When we arrive, which was around 4am in the morning.
My dad picked us up only to go a little than 100m before his car spoiled.
The engine died out on us. Luckily there was a good samaritan who stopped to give us a lift. Second sign of unluckiness.
Of course since dad’s car ended up in the workshop, I have no transport to the only cyber cafe there is in Gua Musang.
Everybody stayed inside since the weather there is super hot after noon.
The routine we had there was simple.
Eat, watch tv, and sleep.
I’ve honestly got so fat that I lost my body shape.
I look like I’m bloody 3 months pregnant.
I hate my metabolism rate.
Why can’t I be tall like Michy? Then, I’d still look good even if I got fat because people will only see the tallness.
Now, I’m just what Mei Kuan always tease me as, short and plump. Kanneh.
Tommy and I checked into a hotel in front of my dad’s place since dad’s place have no more rooms with air cons.
Everything was fine until we went into the toilet. The door cannot be locked. The flush looks as if it might break if you use force. The bar broke.
The TV has only one channel.
Thank gord for it was Astro,
and they had all channels including MTV.
Dad’s place didn’t.
This is absolutely the third sui-ness.
Staying with dad means having good food all the time.
We stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights,
and every single day (not night) we have those chinese dinner.
Big fish, vegetables, chicken, egg.
The bill are usually over RM70 and the 3rd day’s dinner was RM115.
Besides dinner, dad got us durians.
Gua Musang’s durians are really good, fyi.
So worth the money paid.
For the whole trip, we had 26 durians.
It cost dad about RM700 - RM800 for the durians.
On the 3rd day, I found a mini cyber cafe with only 4 computers hidden away in a small part of Gua Musang.
I went back there twice and both times the computers were all taken.
I thought this as the fourth sign of unluckiness, nevermind what you think.
The last sign and the worst was on our departing day.
Halfway (well not really since we were still in Kelantan) back,
the train broke down. Overheard some of the passengers saying that the wheels of the train broke.
That explained the very loud piang sound we heard minutes before.
We were stucked at the same spot from 3.30am to 7am. Almost 4 hours.
So we reached KL Sentral at 12.30 ish. 5 hours behind schedule.
This trip back was 15 hours long.
I could have reach Australia by plane in 13.
I swear my butt went numb.
