About Project Phunk

Phunk is pronounced as “Funk” not “Punk” or any other funny words.

The initials “PHUNK” stands for “Providing Hospis Understanding N Kare”. We are organizing a project to raise funds for Hospis Malaysia, a non-governmental organization which provides palliative care services. We also hope to raise awareness of palliative care amongst the society.

This project is done by the Semester 4 students of Diploma in Communication, TCPJ.

Check them out for more info: www.project-phunk.blogspot.com

So yea, Lydia kinda briefed me about the project and it does look fun.
Too bad I missed out on all the garage sales.
No wait, on second thought, I’m flat broke, so luckily I missed.

Now they are having their finale at Laundry Bar next Tuesday (25th Sept) and they’re promoting the event obviously. If you don’t know where’s Laundry Bar, you can go bang wall. LOL.

There’s no cover charge but they are selling tickets for a lucky draw. It’s priced at RM10 each. All proceeds will definitely go to Hospis.

I’m planning to go if my friends are going and if I have cash.

Oh and I was kidding about the bang wall line.
Get the joke. Swt.

You have no idea how bad I want to go to this event.
But as usual, the best events are not in Malaysia.
Noooooo. It has to be the neighbouring country, Singapore.

Damnnn. So jealous you know?

Thursday, September 13th, 2007

I ran out of interesting things to talk about.
BUTTTTTTT.. I had a haircut today.
Again. LOL.

And the first friend to see me in person is Taufoooo.

Oh and I made another new friend today.

His name is Sam.
And he’s *insert word*. LOL.
I hope not all bartenders are like him.
Gone lah then.

And he told me, you gotta have passion to be a bartender.

Hmmmm.

Got to hang out with Taufoooo today and it was only the two of us.
I like it like that. Seriously.
We had so much in common actually.
So mufffucking much.

Then drove home before getting another call from Kaviin.
Vivien was there with him along with another two fellas.
Damn, I’ve not seen the girl enough so of course I went.

Sat there at Botanic Park and had our girl talk before the guys intrude.
Had a veryyyyy long emo talk.
Like seriously damnnnn kao long.

But it was all good time.

Money & Education Runs Your Life

Wednesday, September 12th, 2007

I’ve been really lazy when it comes to updating the blog.
The best excuse now is trials.
Having the SPM trials this whole month.
Only going to end on the 28th while everyone else finish up on the 27th.
Sports Science lah. Babi betul. Even for SPM, it’s like the last paper.
I have like another 18 papers to go.

Kay. I whine enough about education dy.
I can’t wait for these 3 months to pass by.
Freedom then again, would I miss high school?

Amy and I are crazy.
It’s only September but we’re already making up plans for December.
Holidays!
We’re thinking beaches.
So naturally I wanna go Penang but Nerd suggested Pangkor.
So we’ll see.
For now, save money first.

I need another job. Damnnnit.
Maybe I should accept Kong Hui’s offer to work at his handphone shop.
I mean the pay is good and I can have time to revise cause all I need is to sit there.
Then again, it’s like a job that gives a bad image.
An image of a girl who dropped out of school and stuff.

Fuck it lah. Thinking through.

Oh. Promoting Jeannie’s work!

If I’m to marry, I might hire her as my official photographer.
Look at those pictures and she’s only 18!
Potential and talents, I tell you.

All For Siu Keung

Friday, September 7th, 2007

Sometimes truth hurts so bad but you gotta learn to accept and understand.
Sometimes no matter how stubborn you are, you gotta change for the one you love.
Sometimes no matter how many times you say you don’t give a damn what others have to say, you actually do.
More than you’d ever know.
Sometimes you just need someone else to tell you what’s going on instead of trying so hard to be strong and pretending you’re okay.

So people.
Finally I felt like updating again.
Nowadays I don’t feel the oomph to blog so much.
Definitely no entries about my whole week from Monday to Friday.

Just wanted to post a bit of the highlights here and there.
Those entries are so dull kan?

I had a study group session!
Isn’t that like amazing?
I told Yee Wu before I left while chatting with her and she was shocked.
KC, Michael and Amy was in it too.
We studied at MCD, Bukit Tinggi.

Who said we cannot study at mamak / out?
Hmphhh. We worked.
*beams*

We took pictures as evidence.
You know, in case you people don’t believe us.

fuihh. studying ! seeeeee.

ini suruh study, dia texting.

goofing around.

KC and I went for a movie before the study session.
We watched The Invasion.
The movie creeps me out.
Seriously, imagine if humans are not humans anymore.
And everyone is the same.
No expression. No feelings. Just memories and thoughts.

I think the best highlight for this week so far is when
THE COCKROACH FLEW INTO THE CAR THROUGH THE WINDOW.

Yesssssss. Scary or not?

KC lahhhh.
The roach was outside the window and all of us were safely in the car.
But the backside wanted it go away so he pressed down the window.
OF COURSE THE COCKROACH FLEW STRAIGHT IN LAHHHH.

I screamed. He screamed.
Michael went MAAAAA FUCKKKKK

Then we all came out of the car.
The two of them started looking for the roach while I laughed.
Dahlah we had so many books and bags in the car, they moved all of the stuffs out and started the search.

Keep in mind we were at Bayu then.
Just left the mamak after sitting there for an hour or so.
So many cars passed us by after waiting to take our parking.
Apologies. Emergency = roach in car.

LOL.

We failed to find the cockroach so we had no choice but get in the car.
KC drove with his leg up while Michael went crazy.
I laughed at the duo non stop all the way home.

The second part of the search was outside my house with the assistance of Tommy.
Until finally the cockroach flew out.
Everyone was so relieved and started applausing.

I have pictures for this too !

Cockroach Hunt Part 1.

On The Way Home.

here you can see how hyped up Michael got.
Singing to KC’s face.
Singing with his head out the window.
Camwhoring with me. LOL.
Also a shot of KC, driving with his leg up because he fear the roach would climb up his leg.

Cockroach Hunt Part 2.

the hunt continued in front of my house.
all i did was stood and watch while the two boys work.
you have Michael’s sexy backside.
and his gay pose.

Hunt Is Over.

lol. overrrrrrrr.

Crazy day that was.

Some Facts, Some Thoughts, Some Plans

Monday, September 3rd, 2007

I’m finally facing reality.
I’m talking about the reasons why I skip school so much.

I feel so guilty for my classmates.
Yes, your books.
I’m such a jerk, I know.

I don’t want to see the face of my teachers.
Yes, En.Sazli especially.
I disappointed you.

I don’t feel like studies are important to me ever since errr…
Well ever since high school.
Things changed a lot for me.
I’ve changed too.

I used to be a nerd okay?
Imagine. Kimberly a NERD !
I was fucking kiasu.
Always aiming to be Top 10 or Top 5, if I can manage, in class.
That was all back in primary school.

I don’t want much in life.
Just enough and as long as I’m happy and contented with it.
No need to be famous and rich.
No need to be a legend or some sort.
No need to be all over text books or history books.
I just want enjoy life as it is because I only get to live it once as me.

I’m smart enough to not destroy it with drugs of course.
That would totally fuck my life up and I know I won’t end up living the life.

So I thought, why should I study so hard just to get into college then graduate then work when I can skip some of it and go straight to work while having fun?

Work is not fun, I know that.
But it depends on what you’re working as and are you passionate enough for it.
You’ll be tired from those long hours but you’ll still love your job.

I know I sound naive.
I can’t help it.
Life is a one time thing.
I can only do whatever I want one time only.
I don’t desire to be remembered forever.
Just by those I love for the things I do that reminds them of me.

So tell me is education really all that?
And is it enough to push a person down the building?

I have so many plans after SPM.
Work in Singapore. A whole new life there, you see.
Backpack but then I’d need a lot of cash and a mate to backpack with.
Or just work in Malaysia for a couple of months then go straight into college
but where’s the fun in that?

Sighhh. I don’t know.
I’m so fucking confused.
I’m not like those people who like to live life just as it is.
I want to go out, explore new things and live.

I think I got the blood from mom.
She left for Taiwan or was it Japan, as soon as she finished high school, by herself.
With her own money.
I want to be like that.

Knn. Why is life filled with decisions?
Yeah well, we choose our own ways.
And we make our own mistakes.

Damnnnnnn man. I really don’t want to end up being typical.
Fuck, what do I even mean with that?
