Two Zero Oh Seven
Tuesday, January 2nd, 2007Woots people, it’s a brand new year!
I welcomed the new year at The Curve with my baby girls and the sesat guys.
Bevan was there to join us too.
Michy, Amy, Tee Liang, Damien and Bernard,
I swear that night was one of the best nights of my life.
Damien was driving because he was the only one with a license.
You know, just in case there were roadblocks.
We took a detour to Pyramid so that Amy could get her stuff from Topshop.
By the time we reached The Curve, there were already cars queuing to enter the carpark.
They closed up the road into the Cineleisure carpark and The Curve’s because the street between The Curve and Ikano was where the stage and kids’ games were set up at.
Only hotel guests were allowed to use that road.
We lied our way into parking the hotel carpark.
It was one of the best part of the night.
I’m keeping the whole account to myself eventhough I’ve typed it all out in the first place but you should know that in the end of everything, the guards let us into the hotel carpark. Woots.
That’s why Bernard was the man of the night.
He made us all laughed till tears came rollin’ and our eyeliners, smudged.
I had my breakfast, lunch and dinner at KFC with them.
People’s right you know, smoking after eating actually feels damn good but that’s enough of smoking for me. My first resolution for 2007 (been creating ‘em randomly throughout the night) was to stop smoking before I get myself addicted.
Right before joining the street party, Bevan called so we met up with him then we separated because I accompanied Bevan to have his dinner at Ikano.
Meatballs are tasty. There I’ve said it but the sauce made it better.
My tummy was freaking bloated by the time I set off looking for the rest and Leucine.
Found the peeps first.
Had a hard time looking for Leucine but in the end we did find her and we hugged and cheered because she wasn’t at home holding a maggi cup in her hand counting down to the new year. Haha. *whistles*
Laundry was full so we couldn’t get in.
Tee Liang suggested to buy booze from 7-Eleven and have our own tani session somewhere.
So we did as he suggested on the bridge connecting The Curve to Cineleisure.
People were staring at us as if we were ulu and there were those who even bitched but heck those people took pictures of themselves in front of Cineleisure with a “peace”. Now who’s ulu?
Had fun spraying Bernard.
He was the easiest person to bully.
Tee Liang and Amy kept going at it at each other.
Damien was the good boy.
Michy was half way. Haha.
The fireworks were beautiful but wasn’t really into it.
Mommy called right at 12am to wish me. <33
Amy had a tough one. Sigh. Don’t worry bout it.
You’ll figure it out soon and we’re right here for you okay.
We clubbed at Laundry afterwards.
It was packed but heck we didn’t give no damn, all of us just wanted to dance.
Everybody was so high especially Michy.
The gang went out to breathe before Bevan and I did.
We found them in the middle of a circle outside the bar.
Azman were having a small battle with some foreign bboys.
I saw a lot of talented dancers there. Gotta respect.
Since Amy and Michy had a curfew (i didn’t !), we had to leave for KLG around 3ish. Dropped Azman at Damansara Perdana. That boy’s moving to Ipoh this Tuesday.
Gahh. Hope to see you soon.
After Amy’s place, the rest of us went for supper at Berkeley’s Corner.
Tee Liang was frustrating because it was getting real late and he was going to his first day of work the very next morning. Michy was getting worried because her curfew was so violated.
BR fetched me back from there.
By the time we reached my place, we’ve decided to go Genting, just for fun you know?
Left at around 5am, reached at 6ish, then left for home around 7.45am.
I was there in shorts and a bareback top. The thought of bringing a sweater or changing totally didn’t occur to me because the dumb side of me took over, I forgot that Genting was cold. Imagine walking around the streets and sitting down at the garden in that. Tiu.
——————————————————————
That was one very long new year’s eve wasn’t it?
I swear the night was one of the best.
How could it not?
I celebrated my new year with my two besties.
It was the second year I celebrated new year with Bernard.
My parents wasn’t home that night.
No phone calls to ruin my mood or the night.
No jams. No roadblocks. Nothing.
Not even the stuffs I talked about with Nerd after I left the mamak could turn the night wrong.
Nop. Not even that.
For once in my life, I’m having the guts to say, 31st December of 2006 was a perfect night.
PS : Pictures are still with Michy and she’s not done transfering all of them to me so that’s gotta wait. Use your imagination first lah.
